David Tepper (dtepper) > it was about 4.7 miles of flat or gradual climbing for the first leg until we reached the bondcliff trail. it sharply rose up as soon as we got on the bondcliff trail and the heart started pumping -- this was our first extended rest stop once we left most of the bugs behind on the lower elevs. the bondcliff trail began at around 1,640' (500m), so we'd only climbed about 460 feet so far, over about 4.7 miles -- flat.
